A Legacy of Excellence with FP-OLC
In 2003 Sunrise Technologies acquired the Fisher Pierce Outdoor Lighting Control business from Danaher Corporation. The products are now marketed under the FP Outdoor Lighting Control (FP-OLC) brand name. The first twistlock photocontrols were introduced in 1958. From that point on, FP-OLC quickly became the leading supplier of this technology for the utility roadway applications and has been the accepted standard for roadway lighting control since that point in time.
Over the years, FP-OLC developed a complete line of products for Commercial and Industrial use for area lighting and now has a major position in this market. Other products include auxiliary power devices for pole mounted equipment, contactors and advanced wireless technology for street and area lighting control.
